Yes, yes. I'm sure you're wondering where I've been. Uninspired really. Thank god I'm not a writer by trade. The pantry would be home to moths only.
Not much going on really. I'm currently reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This part of a book club thingy at church. It's the first time I've read a book for a club/discussion so I'll so how it goes. So far it reminds me of The Other Wise Man by Henry Van Dyke. I'm about halfway through it.
On a whim I visited the website of my sister's favorite author, Neil Gaiman (www.neilgaiman.com). He posted a link from there to a book reading website called Good Reads (www.goodreads.com). A friend of mine mentioned the site to my sister over a year ago, who in turn mentioned it to me, who in turn promptly forgot about it. Now I'm fully logged into the site and adding books I've read. My reviews are mostly reasons why I read them than anything else. There's a synopsis for each book right on the site. So far I've compiled over 100 books. I'll probably have more than twice that by the time I add all the children's literature I love.
