Honestly, I love New Year's because it's a point to start over from. Like, now I can fix all the things I've been doing wrong, start over with a clean slate, you know? Except not completely. Anyway, I kept most of my New Year's resolutions from last year:
* be nice
* make new friends
* not be so hard on myself schoolwise and not worry about getting into college (well...I didn't quite keep this one :P)
* get up early enough to put on makeup and a decent outfit (kind of)
* keep my room clean (not kept)
* be more informed about politics (kind of)
* get my driver's license before spring break
* take the SATs and be ready for them when I do (kind of...well, I did well, so it doesn't matter :P)
* figure out what colleges to apply to
Well...I sort of kept them, anyway. So now for this year:
1. Read 35 books
2. Go to Poetry Club more
3. Be less stressed
4. Read the news more
5. Be more outgoing
6. Stretch more
7. Have a relatively regular sleep schedule
8. Use more moisturizer
9. Floss more
10. Keep a steady journal
11. Listen to more music
12. See more movies
13. Waste less time
13 is a good number, I think! I need something big to write these on, haha. A sticky note isn't quite going to get my attention. I'm sure I'll forget these by March unless I do something about it. Maybe I'll add this entry to my favorites or something? I don't even know how to do that, haha.
Anyway, last night was fun. Tom came over and we played Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit, which was based more on the movies than the books, which is silly, I think. But whatever.
