It’s not the best shot artistically, but seeing this tree made me smile today. I don’t know why the heck it’s blooming in December, but the color is appreciated.
I’m switching to calling these spotlight photos, as I’m obviously not managing to post them daily!

Edited to add: Hmm. I’m still not really quite happy with this picture. I’ve edited again, saved it, and posted it on Flickr. This is still not quite what I’m trying for, either. Oh well, it was the color that made me smile, not the crop of the photo.
