Pre-Army of Darkness: Sheila is the eldest daughter of Lord Peter and Lady Wynne of Kandar Keep. She has seven siblings; her two eldest brothers died in border wars with the Scotts before her death; a younger sister died at birth, and another brother (her twin brother, Shiloh) died of the bloody flux in his infancy. Sheila develops all the natural characteristics of a leader as she helps care for her siblings, Peter-John, Lona and Meghan, and trains to manage her own household.
In a raid on Kandar Castle, Sheila's father is severely injured in battle. Wynne saves him with herbal medicines and is accused by the village midwife of witchcraft. Already under suspicion due to her mother's murky past and alledged Druidic blood, Lady Wynne is ultimately pressed to death beneath a pile of stones on the order of King Edward I.
Lona is kidnapped by a Scottish riding party and taken across the border. The family never hears of her again, though Sheila prefers to believe her happily married into one of the westernmost border clans.
During a raid on the keep, Meghan is violently raped and murdered; Sheila and her nursemaid, secreted in a trunk nearby, pay horrified witness to the entire event. The plaid of The war between the people of Shale and the people of Kandar commence.
-1300: Sheila, trained in the ways of a lady in waiting through her early teens, expects to be a woman of the court to Queen Isabella in London, where she will attempt to attract a suitor. The sudden appearence of the Deadite mennace derails her plans, and Sheila finds herself chained to Kandar Keep, unable to travel through the night.
 Army of Darkness canon occurs.
Post-Army of Darkness/1301 Arthur, Sheila's distant cousin, weighs his options regarding Sheila's future. While he decides between committing her to a nunnery and marrying her, Wiseman John intervenes, sending Sheila seven hundred years into the future...and tossing her from the bottom of Kandar's well to the bottom of Ash's closet.
Sheila takes a job at Martenelli's flower shop and, after obtaining a fake ID and birth certificate through Ash, earns her GED and begins attending college. She moves in with Tom Carrol, a "gender illusionist", and Ash reacts jealously in spite of his promise to keep their relationship platonic. After six months of friendship, Ash and Sheila make love after both are injured in a Deadite attack at the S-Mart; a month later they move in together, and on Christmas Eve night, they become engaged.
Ash and Sheila marry in a small ceremony at the Twelfth Street Church on Michigan Avenue on July 12th. They honeymoon on Mackinaw Island. Ash continues to work at the S-Mart and Sheila takes a promotion with Martinellis; she takes on a heavier course load at Michigan State. In October, she discovers she's pregnant; Ash reacts badly to the news. Their son dies in utero; Sheila goes through the painful process of an induced delivery in December. Her pain brings an epiphany in Ash; he asks Sheila if she wants to try for a baby.
Ash takes Sheila on a weekend trip into Cass County for their first anniversary, during which they conceive a child. Sheila contemplates a change in occupation, and supplements her income by taking in sewing. An increase in Deadite attacks occur around the holiday season as Sheila's due date draws near.
Emily Ann Williams is born January 19th. Sheila reduces her hours at Martenellis to better recover from her two-day birthing ordeal, and Ash takes a later shift at the S-Mart to make up for the lost income; he stays up nights with their daughter while Sheila exhaustedly sleeps, and father and daughter bond.
Ash is mistaken for a prophesized vengeance demon by a band of gypsies who believe he can prevent the world's ending at the stroke of midnight on December 31st. He's kidnapped and Sheila is forced to rescue him through subterfuge. All parties are disappointed when midnight strikes and nothing happens.
Sheila works on her thesis and takes up a master's class in Latin; she begins working toward her master's degree in French and spends a lot of time at school. Ash, feeling neglected, is tempted toward infidelity by a co-worker named Tamara, who turns out to be a succubae. She does not react well to Ash's decision to remain faithful to Sheila, and Ash demolishes the Home and Garden department in the process of defeating her.
The millennium turns; Deadite attacks spike around January. Three-year-old Emily witnesses daddy in action for the first time, and kicks an already-deadified Deadite in the back of the head. Her admiration for daddy increases, but her socks never recover. Ash gets a raise and a promotion, and Sheila takes a qualifying test that will allow her to apply for a Chateaubriand scholarship.
The Williams' move to a slightly bigger apartment in August; Emily gets her own room. Ash and Sheila celebrate with a bottle of wine. Three months later, Sheila discovers she's pregnant again.
Jake Jude Williams is born April 10th; Sheila nearly dies when her blood pressure rapidly decelerates during the delivery; Jake is born via crash c-section. In spite of his dodgy start in life, Jake is a ravenous, very healthy baby, and Emily is simultaneously jealous of and excited by the newcomer. Sheila is bedridden for nearly a month while she recovers from the delivery; she loses her job at Martinellis during her long convalescence. She's not exactly thrilled with her new job in the pet supply department at the S-Mart to supplement the family's income.
The Williams' peaceful homelife is disrupted when Sheila wins the Chateaubriand; they decamp for Paris; Ash quits his job at the S-Mart and becomes a defacto house husband while they live off of Sheila's grant money. The Williams' nextdoor neighbors turn out to be (very inept) cultists, and they kidnap Jake and Emily, intending to sacrifice them to the Kandarian god of fertility. The neighbors are slaughtered by the wicked spirits inhabiting the book, and Sheila and Ash are forced to rescue their children from the reanimated corpses of Jim Morrison and Edith Piaf.
The Williamses return to America; Ash takes a managerial position at the Dearborn Super S-Mart with plans to open his own automobile customization shop; Sheila receives her masters in French in March and takes a paid internship at the French consulate; Ash and Sheila celebrate with wine. On December 3rd, Mary Elizabeth Williams is born; her OB-GYN suggests to Sheila that this should be her final child, and Sheila agrees to the assessment for the sake of her health.
