(no subject)
Ok, so after being at the doctor's for hours, with blood work and everything. I had to miss work. I needed that money, like whoa. So that sucks. Good news though, I get my test results back in...7-10 days, wtf. 5 hours at the doctors, and it's going to take them 7-10 FUCKING days?! AHHHHHHHH!
Speaking of work...Working this summer has had it's ups and downs, but I don't think I did too horribly. Here's a few things I learned:
1. As nice as you are to people, some just have a stick up their ass
2. You can't please everyone
3. Your co-workers can become good friends
4. Always leave early when there's a book signing
5. Always park in the same spot
6. Make sure you have more then one pair of Khakis and comfy shoes
7. Learn as quickly as possible, you never know when you'll work alone
8. Always leave yourself open for new opportunities
9. Make sure to look your best, because the day you don't is the day a good looking customer or delivery boy will come in
10. Make the best out of a shitty situation
So I will be working there whenever I come home, if that ever happens :-P
This summer has had its ups and downs. Let's review...
Ups: ~Getting to know a few people better
~Having a great time doing random things
~Hanging out with people I haven't seen since HS
~Realizing a lot of people have changed since I've been gone
~The week my parents were gone
~The few bonfires I went to
~Playing "Hide and Go Seek" with SP and the guys
~Realizing I still have friends here
~Partying it up at the wedding
~Getting my tattoo
~Spending everyday for a week with Mica...always interesting LOL
~Watching Dan's house
~Making friends with the most random people
~Standing up for myself
~Working
~Realizing I don't miss HS or HSMB
Downs: ~Having rumors spread about me
~Spending an evening with a bunch of people I don't like
~The Drama
~Realizing, I AM older then some
~Watching Dan's house
~Being used
~Being ditched
~Working
~Missing all my friends from school
~Not seeing Aub a lot
~Feeling pressure
~Doing certain things I'm not proud of...again and again
~Not seeing a few people I wanted to
~Realizing that most of my friends are going away this year
~Being bored
All in all things haven't been all that bad. :)
I am all packed and move in tomorrow, 9 am. I leave here at 7:45 am. That kinda sucks. Fundies week, our "Band camp" starts for me at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. It's going to be a busy day. I CAN'T WAIT!
