Medical Exam
I'm just posting to rant a little bit. :D Today I have my first medical exam provided by my work. It's mandatory or else I would skip today. About two weeks ago there was a packet on my desk along with a paper dixie-looking cup. Inside the packet was my medical questionnaire and a little envelope with a plastic bottle inside.
I asked another teacher to explain what happens and what I need to do to prep. She told me I needed to answer the questionnaire ahead of time and wear a t-shirt without a print so I can get a chest x-ray. She told me about what time and stuff that I had to be there.
Then I picked up the cup and the envelope with the plastic bottle inside. She told me I had to take my own urine sample in. I couldn't believe it. The only thing I could think was...this is not in my job description.
Well today I got my sample ready, and let me tell you, it was a difficult task to suck up my pee in that little bottle. You had to get it to a certain line but you had to keep squeezing some of it out.
I know, TMI, but I needed to vent it. Well my medical exam starts in about thirty minutes. Wish me luck...I hate doctors.
