Maia felt a lot safer in the dorms then she had in the cabin. She had an actual door between her and whatever these things were that had stolen everyones voice. Pleasantly sore and full of energy from her bout with Pippi, Ivanova lifted her hand to knock; four swift, two short.

They couldn't talk. Which meant that they couldn't bother neighbours with noise. Ivanova was intent on exploiting this as best she could.

Maia walked over to the door, bat still in hand even though she knew it was Ivanova. She smiled at her and opened it all the way to let her in. Closing it behind her and locking it tight she laid the bat down and then wrapped her arms around her.

Ivanova slipped inside and closed the door firmly behind her, wrapping her arms tightly the other girl. She was at the same time drained and energised by her fight, which is why she finally moved back and groped for her notepad and marker.
