Lot's of happenings
Well the issues with my little brother just get worse and worse each week. He's living with our dad now and still getting in trouble! He's fifteen years old, smoking cigarrettes and pot, drinking, and being threatened to get kicked out. He wants to move in to his friends place. He claims he'll stay in school and just work parttime and pay rent. His friends mom is blind and doesn't care if they smoke or drink. Since he got his parttime job at a gas station his marks in school have gone down a lot. I told him that if things hadn't gotten better by January he could move in with Jon and I. When I brought up the idea to my dad and his wife he said that there was no way he could. His wife said "maybe not now, but it is an option". Jon and I sat down and wrote a list of rules which I mailed to them so that they can try and get him to follow, I don't know how thats going though. I guess time will tell.
Jon and I are moving in January! I can finally escape the mother! We should be moving this upcoming week, but because Jon and I have been sick for the last while and haven't been able to save money. But we are getting excited. There was a poster sale at the unniversity this week and Jon and I bought a bunch of posters for our new place. We spent way too much money but it'll look really good. My dad is giving us his couches. They're a little beat up but nothing that a slip cover won't fix. Dad also says that my grandma in Winnipeg has a bunch of stuff for us too. It sounds like it originally came from my Uncle who is constantly out of the country. so we'll be set.
Well other than that there is not much new in my world. Just been sitting back and watching my cat get high on cat nip. He's completely addicted to the stuff. It's hilarious.
