tea without milk??

apparently darjeeling tea is good for the heart, except when you add skim milk. What? I drink a large glass of darjeeling with skim milk just about every morning, it's delicious and I know black tea drinkers have lower incidents of ovarian cancer (something I may be at risk for for other reasons), but that I wouldn't get the heart benefits because ( Read more... )

Depression is bad for the heart. Drink your tea with milk, because it makes you happy and happiness = health. :-)

You'll just have to get heart benefits from red wine instead. Darn.

that was a very small study with 16 participants. My doctor always tells me that small-study data is interesting but not necessarily reliable. I wouldn't worry about it until more reliable data comes out. Drink your tea the way you enjoy it. Tea's good for you.

How utterly ridiculous! Think about it logically - does anything in the milk affect the way the good parts of the tea are absorbed? Hate crappy studies like this!
