I guess it's been a year, huh?...
Wow. Time just zips by when you're a parent. I guess it's multiplied with twins...
Everything is just so overwhelming all the time. It's always something. Yesterday we spent a couple of hours in the emergency room. In short, Florian almost amputated the tip of his right index finger in the van door. Think pez dispenser... We're really thankful that it missed the bone. Poor little guy. I feel so bad. He was such a good boy though. I hope it'll be close to normal. We have to take him to a hand specialist tomorrow.
On top of this, Arne had to go to Ohio tonight. I think 1st (maybe 2nd) trip he's taken for work since the boys were born. Man, it was stressful to get the boys ready for bed by myself. My parents are thankfully coming to help me tomorrow (though I doubt they'd be here before bedtime...).
Oh, yeah, I was also told last week I need surgery! Tonsils, adenoids, and while they're at it, fix a deviated septum I didn't know I had... I was all ready to have to do it when I started talking to people at work and reading horror stories online of people's recoveries...so now I'm trying antibiotics and steroids, and going to see a nutritionist and taking all sorts of supplements to see if I can avoid the surgery (it's because of a chronic adenoid infection)
