37 Week Update
So I hit the big mile marker today - 37 Weeks. They would no longer be considered premature if they were born now. At the 37 Week ultrasound, Baby A is 7 lbs, 1 oz and Baby B is 7 lbs. Practically normal size for single babies - great size for twins!
The doctors believe I shouldn't go past 38 Weeks with twins, so if they don't come out on their own this week (which they may not since I'm not dilated), I'm scheduled to get induced next Sunday the 13th!
I finally had my true last day at work now. I went into the office last Wednesday to see if everything went will with our new computers and to get a little more work done. I wish I was able to get more done, but oh well. Everyone thinks I'm crazy to have kept working so long . I'm too dedicated I guess. I think I deserve a promotion....when I return to work, I'll have a new boss - we'll see how that goes.
I'm almost glad that I know I've only got a week left. It is getting so much harder now. I can't stay in any one position comfortably very long. My feet hurt and are swollen from almost the moment I get up to when I go to bed. My back hurts every time I get up from sitting or lying down. I dread the evenings because by then everything is worst and I wake up every 1-3 hours either from back or hip pain, or to go to the bathroom. Every time I take the short walk from the bed to the bathroom my back is in terrible pain so I inch my way there.... T minus 8 days or less...
