2. AT FIRST he thought, "My God! I've found some hidden oasis where the plague didn't hit THIS IS GREAT I'M NOT THE LAST GUY ANYMORE". But that was very short lived once everyone explained things to him and it was ... a huge let down. Because I think he keeps HOPING every day that he'll find some other male alive somewhere, even if it looks less and less likely with every year.

It's taken him a while to get used to it! Not as long as you'd think, though, because he's settled into a state where he half thinks he's having an insanely long dream and he's going to wake up any minute now with 355 and Dr. Mann. So basically he still can't quite believe it, but he's going along with the flow in lieu of any better ideas.

1. Rosette means the world to Chrno. If she and Joshua had not come into his life he would have been quite fine just slowly dying in that tomb forever. What Rosette has done, over the years, is show him that life is worth living and that there are people out there to protect at all costs. I mean, boy goes crazy when he thinks she dies, so it's an understatement to say she's his stabiliser. Of course, A LOT of his protectiveness of her comes from what happened in the past and how he failedddd, which he never wants to happen again.

He's not aware at this point that he loves her :T. Frankly I don't think he was really aware that he loved Mary, he's got no experience with this sort of thing and it ended so traumatically and abruptly that he's never thought about it. He knows he cares about her deeply but he'll get hideously embarrassed if anyone implies it's more than that. Because whatttt.

5. - I don't think it's actually SAID in WE that his parents divorced, but that's what I assume happened. He also moved out because he didn't get along with them. He was much happier once he did that, but he still misses them sometimes. In the "They don't remember me at all :(" sense.

- Youhei dropped out of school after the kanshu attack because he no longer saw the point in education, when he could be fighting to stop something like that happening again. Occasionally he wishes he'd kept at it because he'll come across things he doesn't get that school could have taught him. But whatever.

- He started bleaching his hair when he was 14.

- The first time he rode a scooter, he fell off it and fractured his leg. He thought it was awesome.

- Youhei used to win those Annexed Division drinking contests. As if anyone else would.
