(no subject)
My trip home has been good so far. I've done my visits with both my doctor and dentist (thought the bad news is that I still don't know what's wrong with my hearing and I have to come back for fillings in a month). I went out for dinner with my dad at Sarnia's first and only Sushi/Japanese place and it was delicious. I skimmed through all of my old issues of Nintendo power (covering from the announcement of the first 6 "Player's Choice" titles for the N64 to the introduction of the Wavebird controller for GCN), saved a few pages for a future project, and recycled the rest. Took a look through all the toys in the basement trying to decide what to do with it all (admittedly didn't get past the LEGO). Cleaned some more stuff out of my dresser/closet/bookshelf in my old room. I did lunch with Clay, finished reading Sandman, and even did a bunch of homework. It's been nice; I miss living in a home with light and space ... and food lol. My mom bugged be a bit about moving out of the cave, which reminded me that I really should at least be looking at prices.
Today is cleaning up all the things I pulled out of storage but aren't being given away or taken back to Toronto. I think Mom is taking me out to her knitting group thing before dropping me off at the train station, then it's the loooooooong ride back. Next time I visit I'm renting a car >_
