(no subject)
I had intended to go to bed much earlier than this tonight. I really had. Why do I always get so carried away working on my little projects?
Floofy skirt: Yesterday I just spent tearing out everything I had already sewn together so I could re-do it. Tonight I re-did it, plus sewed on the third tier. So this is what I have now... (sorry about the crappy webcam pic, but my batteries died)
Whichever weight-loss program I'm shilling for, it must be AMAZING ~_^. Hopefully tomorrow night I can get the next tier cut out at least. for such a simple skirt, this whole thing is impressively time-consuming simply due to the sheer amount of fabric involved!
Still working on the shoe as well. Hopefully photos of that tomorrow.
drama_freak and I hung out at mottaboy66 's place last night; having dinner, playing games and watching movies. Dan had downloaded Flower, which was really confusing for about 30 seconds, then it was the most amazing game I've played in a long time.
Dan had finished all the editing on the yearly Christmas Party DVD and so we got the screening of that one. Good job as usual. I'm going to have to go through it all again and take some screencaps, because man, I had some amazing faces. Also, a special message for the two of you: I think you guys did a really great job with the commentary! It's absolutely hilarious ('Manda, you are also a bitch, and I love you). Triples the replay value, easily.
I get Thursday off this week because of Family Day (isn't it funny how that works) and I think I'm going to see Coraline. I want to catch it while it's still showing in 3D.
Con-G this weekend... No new costumes since Mario Galaxy the skirt and shoes ate my life. I'll probably do a quick fix on the tail and bring Goldeen with me since it's the only anime costume I have ready to go. I'm still going to try to have one hoodie also done to chill in, but I think I'm out of luck since everything else has actual deadlines.
