Recap

So far, I have been doing well with my plan to socialize myself more... Sunday was Dan's place for dinner and a screening of the 2007 Christmas DVD, and then tonight I headed over to Susan's apartment for movies, cupcakes, and pina coladas ^_^ We watched Stardust (speaking as someone who hasn't read the book, I enjoyed it as a sweet romantic fairy tale, as fairy tales are these days), and I was introduced to a couple of episodes of How I Met Your Mother as well. That combined with watching the first episode of Dexter with Chris makes the most "TV" I've watched since Christmas. At least it's the good stuff.

I am working on getting Gabriel in photo condition; I'm going to try Dylon pre-dye colour remover to get the tea out (hopefully). I have a new haircut to go with the costume, but no  photos because I'm really really lazy. I did, however, finish The Ugly Hat. (thanks to Kitty Heard for modeling it).I bought the yarn in several colour ways, thinking that I could sell the hats, but it turned out so badly that I hesitate to knit up the rest - I'm sick of making things that nobody wants (t-shirts, anyone?). On the upside, it came out a decent size, and is thick enough to be nice and cozy.

Work is getting overwhelming. there's just too much to do and not enough staff to do it. I was given a list of things to do on the 25th, and even working on that for the last 5 days, and the next two, and then another 6 days next week, I bet I still won't be finished. Heck, I probably won't have even started the TWO pattern discards/inventories I have waiting for me. And the boss wants me to do a bunch of notions orders too T_T I are stressed out - but it is a relief, at least, that at least none of it comes home with me ^_^ And if anyone is interested in or knows someone who might be interested in working at Fabricland, PLEASE DROP OFF A RESUME/APPLICATION FORM. We really need new people. Seriously.

Also, Happy Belated Birthday to
dearvicky.... Sorry I'm so far behind, but I was net-less on the right day. Hope your soiree went better than you were fearing!
