Money in the Bank

Today, we finally opened an account at the bank for Nicholas. We took in his *piggy bank* which was actually more of a ... I don't know...it was just ugly. Anyway, that was about half full with loose change. Then we also added 500kr seed money. So his account has almost 1000 kr, which is about 3x more than MY account has;)

College money?

If so, speaking as a college student who has had to pay is way through all of it with only tolkin help form parentials and on behalf of Nicholas, thank you.

No, a college fund will be started soon. This is an account that will hold the money given to him. (So we don't accidentally spend it as our own) That way, when he gets older, if he really wants something frivilous, or bad enough, he can get it himself (his own car, a super-expensive toy that shoots real lasers, (I think we will help him with his own PC; mostly because we won't want to share ours) whatever)

College money will be money from US...This is money that he was gifted with. He shouldn't have to use that towards college.

Or maybe I am just being silly.
