I knew it was going to happen. I just kept hoping it wouldn't be when anyone else would bear witness.
Yep, Nicholas cursed for the first time.
Gunnar and I took him out for Ice Cream, and for some reason, Gunnar bought him a cone. For even more unfathomable reasons, Gunnar let him hold it for himself. So, as he dropped it, down Gunnar's arm and onto the car, Gunnar swore. Immediately, in his little baby echo, I hear the same word from Nicholas' mouth.
I look at Gunnar...He has NO idea what just happened. He didn't even hear HIMSELF swear, much less Nicholas. *sigh* Oh well, better Gunnar than me:) It just drives home the idea to Gunnar now that he HAS to listen to himself, and be careful, because we now have a little mockingbird.
As for the wordd...It was a Norwegian curse, the equivilant of "Fuck"....Greeeeeaaaat
