Yeah, I admit it. I am my father's daughter. When I was younger, I used to watch him walking around, eyes always on the ground, looking for something. Sometimes it was pennies, sometimes recycleable cans and bottles. But he almost always found enough to shake a stick at... (which means in the end, he has prolly picked up over 100 dollars in pennies and returnable.
Today, I was walking to my in-laws house with Nicholas for a visit, looking down, searching. Now, I don't look for pennies...they don't even have those here. And there are enough other people going around finding the bottles and cans. So, I look for 4 leaf clovers. As
silveradept can testify, I do find them too. On the way to the house I found the first 4 leaf clover I have found in Norway. On the way back I found the 2nd, 3rd, and the 1st and 2nd 5 leaf clovers I have found here.
Sure, they aren't worth any money, but it is a way to pass the time while walking:)
