just might be ok

welp, the end of an era is coming upon me slowly. Last night I registered for the fall commencement ceremony. This shall be it! I'll finally be done and graduated from this university. It's taken quite a while, and a lot of time off, but it's in clear view.

and with that....

It's fall quarter in the city of Davis once again. Fall quarter is one of my least favorite times of the year unfortunately. It's hard to adjust to a city that's mostly dead in the summer time, to just coming back to the full swing of school life once again. The busses are all crowded, the bike circles are deadly, and it's just impossible to not run into someone who doesn't have the slightest clue of where they're going. I don't mind giving directions or anything like that, I think that I just have problems with dealing with the amount of people that are here. This is a special year too, because for some reason, the regents decided that we could take 60 million freshmen this year. There are SO many people in Davis right now!

I've become addicted to network tv. It's quite sad, I didn't have many favorite shows last year, this year I have like 5 or 6. I gotta watch House every tuesday. Lost is back, (darn you Amy h. and Jean. for gettingme into that show!) I even started watching America's Next Top Model. I think that's more because of the real time commentary I get to enjoy with Nancy Ong while I'm watching girls mess up and try to make excuses for what they're doing. hehe. It's quite interesting, I would've never given that show a chance otherwise, but I mean, for some reason it has grown on me. Stranger things have happened in davis.

For one of my classes, I'll have to slowly work on an autobiographical piece. I have to turn in a section of writing 5-8 pages long every other week. That's a lot of writing about myself!!! I don't think I can do it, who knows where to start thinking about an autobiograpy? I'm not a creative writing emphasis anymore either. I was never into story writing, fiction or non-fiction. This is going to be a real challenge. Perhaps it might be the most challenging english class that I'll have to take here in Davis. Fitting in a way, as it's one of the last classes that I'll be taking here. I'm just scared that I won't be able to produce anything interesting, that would force that professor of mine to give me something higher than a c-.

I've been having a lot of fun lately just maintaining and updating the Intervarsity website. It feels good to have a working website, something that hasn't really existed since the days of good ol' howard fong. I made some changes to things, and I tried to update some stuff, so that it is more up to date. Hopefully I can set it up in such a way that I would be able to just spend about an hour a week with the actual updating. That would be very nice, to get to a point where it's just efficient to do an hour's worth of work to promote and fix up the website. The other part of actually having a working website is getting the word out that it's functional again! People! go check out the davis intervarsity web page! There is good information on there! haha.

Staffing is on the way...

I'm out...
