Status update, HYD posters and my husband
Hi everyone,
I still have so much to post but I'm still super exhausted...so I'll just post a little rambling and save the posts for a bit. Sorry I haven't replied or been around much, my life has been nonstop upheaval lately.
Besides moving recently I also started a much better job. And completed the Nanowrimo. But all of that has me feeling pretty overwhelmed. And very tired...
Anyway, I had an interesting HYD related realization about my husband.
Recently we set up my office/library/writing/computer room in our new place. It was his idea, he wanted me to have a place to write where I could close the door. His impetus for this was that he felt I stayed up too late because I didn't have a space where I could be alone and he wanted me to get more sleep overall. *which I probably do need*
So we set it up and then I decorated the space, including having all my HYD manga (and others) in bookcases as well as having lots of cute things around like nohohon zokus and my HYD K-drama 2009 calendar.
And while decorating the walls, I left this big space for a HYD K-drama poster.
(I have four versions of posters from the HYD K-drama)
I had secretly earmarked this space, I thought I would have to be a bit sneaky in putting up a big picture of the cast, lol.
*wasn't sure how J. (my husband) would react* *thought he might say no*
So he found out recently about this plan, during one of our conversations. And what did he do?
He chuckled and hugged me! And said "Oh, so right over the computer, in that space?" without any sense of surprise.
*cue MY surprised look*
So my realization is, it's finally happened. After almost 10 years (since even before we were married) of rambling in J.'s ear about HYD and Domyoji and Makino and all the versions...and him being patient with my fanfiction writing, liveblogging and my preoccupation at times, and all my HYD related shopping, he's become completely desensitized.
He'll be on the computer, in my writing room, and there is a calendar that shows a photo of Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di kissing (the image for December) next to him and he isn't fazed.
It's normal now, lol.
Completely normal. :)
Anyway, before I go to sleep, here is a photo of Goo Jun Pyo from one of my favorite scenes in the K-drama:
I'm gonna go hug my husband now. *love*
And I'll be back to do some posts asap...
