I'm no superman

Today is my little brother's 19th birthday!  Happy Birthday, Case!  19 is a tough one, as you're already 18, but still a teenager, and 21 is still a ways away.  My dad sent out a cheerful "Welcome to the last year of teenagedom" e-mail, though.  To me as well, for some reason.

Today was my also last day working in the Art History office, and possibly in Info Services, as well.  Sad face.  Sherrie, the Arth slide librarian, gave me a little box of Godiva chocolates as a graduation gift and said that if I ever needed one, she'd give me a glowing reference.  She is such a sweet lady.  Both my GMU bosses are.  I lucked out there.

It was in question whether or not were are actually going to receive our diplomas at the CHSS convocation next week.  Today that question was unequivocally answered as I rolled up and hundreds of little papers saying congratulations, don't forget to give Mason money cos it's awesome, etc, but are in actuality, an "IOU 1 diploma."  So, no then.  Being as my last name is Williams, I am always sitting through hundreds of other names before my own is called, so if I can avoid doing that in this instance, I will.  The decision is slow in coming, as my parents are away and all conversation takes place via e-mail to my dad's Blackberry.

I'm turning in soon, but before I do, I simply had to share this:

This came from the man himself, apparently in recompense for flooding LJ users' friends pages with entries from April last night.  It was a tad startling, but this video more than made up for it.  I giggled nonstop at work watching it.
