Today felt like the longest day ever, in the history of all days.  Even that day when God created all this stuff that we have.  Longer than that.

Had bio lecture.  Was mildly amusing, but I was not happy to discover that we would be buying our foetal pigs ourselves.  From a store.  Then I had a meeting with my advisor, the venerable Professor Todd, wherein I was asked many questions.  How is it that I am a senior without having taken English 302?  I did know that I have to have that credit in order to take 400-level classes, right?  Why am I taking biology when I haven't finished astonomy?

What I want to know is, why is it that information such as astronomy is two-part is not readily available?  I mean, it says it with bio in the course catalogue, but I've never seen anything about astronomy.  So now I have to wait until the spring to take 114, at which point I will most certainly have lost any and all knowledge of the universe I've ever possessed.  And I already opened and wrote in my goddamn lab notebook.  Damnit.  Least I didn't buy a book, anyway.  So I still needed an additional social science credit, so now I'm signed up for an Anthro.  Hope I don't die.

After the meeting o' revelations, I ran way over to Tysons supposedly to pick up my new car.  My dad had said that it would be ready by noon.  Well, evidently, that statement was based solely on when he thought it should be done and not on any actual information given by the dealership.  So it wasn't done.  So I went home, grumped about, said another goodbye to Casey, and yelled at dad about spending 500 fucking dollars on a fancy tv for Casey when we have no money to spend.  He yelled back, and I fumed all the way back to campus, where I got to see Ryan Pigg (the second "g" is silent) and stuff half a tuna sandwich in the general direction of my face before 20th century art, then the museum.  Good lord, was that a solid block of art history.

Happily, Mama brought me my NEW CAR and we hung out and ate at Damons (which felt like I was taking my mother slumming, but anyway).  She brought me stuff like toilet paper and milanos and diet coke (aka Ambrosia), plus my mosquito netting, which now hangs over my pillow.  It feels very exotic, and hopefully will stay that way unless I choke on mesh in my sleep.

Tomorrow, I don't have class till 1:30!  w00t!  Y'all sleep good!
