*sigh*
It seems the girl I was hoping to date is getting back together with her ex. :( I had hoped to be able to work things out, but it was not to be.
The very short synopsis is she lives out of state and I had thought that the lack of contact in recent months was because as she stated we were so compatible on every level that she got scared and shut down. She was even considering if I was her soul mate. I was even willing to move since she said she couldn't because of family.
Even a prior period of not communicating ended up with us agreeing to date and her assuring me the lack of contact wasn't anything I did. She was not talking to everyone even a number of her friends. She said she wasn't dating anyone then (neither was I). So I still had hope. Evidently that was not the case and she's going back to her ex. Oh well.
