Hi! What's up everyone. Things have been going well so far. I've managed to keep up, if not stay ahead. I feel that I'm learning a lot and I feel significantly healthier. I don't get headaches as often, and I don't have the same urge to fall asleep in the middle of the morning anymore. I think being active and working out have made a difference. I also think the changes in my diet and the consistent inclusion of a few food-based supplements have probably helped too. I've been taking an iron-free multi-vitamin, vitamin C (which is really hard to take because it starts to dissolve right in your mouth and tastes quite bitter), green tea extract, and fish oil (the *good* fat).
My ideal is really to achieve a diet that includes all that, i.e. eat enough fruits and vegetables, fish instead of red meat, drink green tea instead of coffee (much of the time anyway). But as I'm starting to make changes and still failing at going shopping often enough to be completely consistent at *eating* right, I think the supplements have made a big difference. I find myself a lot more happy and energetic overall, which makes it much easier to do homework instead of vegging out. In fact, I can honestly say I haven't played a video game at all since school started. I just haven't wanted to. I've also spent much less time surfing the net aimlessly.
So I think these are good things. Life is good. I'm enjoying being busy and I'm enjoying doing physics. Good stuff.
