It is no secret that I love Yuugi Mutou. I love Atem too, and Jounouchi, and Mai, and... a lot of other people. But YUUGI MUTOU. No matter what happens, he always makes his way back to #1 in my heart ( Read more... )

This topic is dear to my heart, so the more the merrier! XD (Also, I'm totally cool with people randomly commenting on anything on my journal. That's what it's here for. haha)
Yuugi really does have the strength to stand up to Atem and kick ass when it's required. That's how he kept Atem from pushing Kaiba off a cliff in Duelist Kingdom. Yuugi doesn't put up with Atem doing crap in his body that he doesn't approve of. And I like that. Of course my motto is "variety all around" so no matter who ends up where and how, it's all good. XD I just want them to switch it up every now and again. haha

Your AU-land theory sounds nice. *_* It'd also be interesting from a historical point of view, since in Egypt the man who 'receives' is the sinning party. So long as a guy's on top, it doesn't matter who or what he does it with. So for the pharaoh to go bottom... MAN he'd be devoted. (Which Yami also totally is to Yuugi anyway... >__>)

I think Yuugi is better at standing up for other people than for himself.You hit the nail right on the head! Yuugi is absolutely, badassedly amazing when he has to protect others. He has trouble defending himself, but he will do anything to save another person. I love that about him so much. I'm happy you said it. XD ( ... )

Hi, found my way here via the YGO drabble community. Just wanted to chime in and say, yeah, that scene where Atem just falls off his horse and the look on his face when he sees Yuugi and Yuugi's face in return, I hit the pause button and said to myself, "There's no way Blind/Puzzleshipping isn't canon." Although to be fair, I was convinced of that already during the first half of Doma/Orihalcos. (I will confess I don't much care for the second half, and probably wouldn't much care for that season in general had the first half not involved Atem screwing up and losing Yuugi's soul.) Just the way Atem breaks down on the train - you know he wouldn't break down like that for anyone else.

Yeah, I love Blind/Puzzleshipping. I just can't get enough of those two.

Yes! Let's all take a minute to appreciate Atem's "Yuugi Is The Greatest Thing Ever" face.

I love that face so much. Seriously. XD I hit the pause button there too. ...And then rewound it. A few times. A few. Okay, a lot.

hahaha YES. XD Your thoughts and my thoughts on this are exactly the same. haha

I generally think the whole Orichalcos story was a little bit ridiculous, but damn it. I am ALWAYS bought by the rampant Yuugi-angst Atem goes through. One of my favourites is the "Aibou wa doko da?! Doko ni iru?!" ("Where is Yuugi?! Where is he?!?!?!") screaming scene, where Atem just keeps bashing Haga with attacks until the guy collapses.

And yes, the breaking-down-in-the-train scene. And... all the screaming/angsting over Yuugi in general. Damn it Douma! Why must I be so bought by you?! I think I wrote a drabble for it back in high school too, when that scene had just made it to North America via enthusiastic screencaps. XD; I love you Yugioh fandom. <3 ( ... )
