I am re-reading it currently. It actually was never required reading for me, but I read it my first year of college. Terrifically British indeed. One really should say things like "rolling in the muck" far more often.

Some of us didn't get to in High School. The end of BNW kind of gets preachy though. Island is much smarter, though less funny.
