The piano has been tuned!!
Local piano tuner arrived yesterday evening and spent nearly an hour and a half working on the damn thing.
It sounds much better.
The action is still mushy, which is to be expected with a 92 year-old piano.. However, the Mendelssohn and Satie pieces almost seem in tune now! All further sour notes are my responsibility, I guess. Bleh! ;p
At some point we'll have to get a snotty cocktail party put together at our swingin' new apartment and I can entertain everyone with the only 2 fancy songs I know how to play. HA!
