Sleeeeeepy. I have work this weekend (huge shock), and this "project that wouldn't die" has been pushed out until July. No days off for me.. no weekends.. no sleep.
THEN I was informed that another 7-days/week project starts the SAME DAY our current project is finished and will last throughout July. I was told that if I was LUCKY, I'd get one day off for the 4th... reeeeeally lucky.
I hate it. I'm seriously looking into other options at this point.. Have many hobbies which could pay if I'd only pursue them in earnest. Time I gave it a shot. The tech industry is killing me (literally) and I'm not sure I want to let it.
On another rant, my wheels finally have been mounted to my Jetta (remember the long diatribes previously?). I put them on myself and immediately took it for a spin. Thing vibrates like a bastard. No sweat. So I took my car in to have the wheels balanced today. The tire shop informs me that a couple of the wheels aren't very round, and 2 in particular have a "hop". I'm not sure what this "hopping" is all about, but I'm not thinking it's a desirable feature in a wheel.
Needless to say, I'm pissed. Not that I needed ANOTHER let-down to be angry about.
I just need to relax... take a nice warm bath and sleep late. Erm.. can't do that. Gotta work.. and the circuit is complete. Bah!
