Airport
I'm sitting here at the airport....looking out the windowto the tarmac. It'sb ueatiful out there. I don't know why I find the simplest bueaty...bueatiful. I love the things most people don't see everyday and take for granted.
I have to admit, I was really nervous last night about flying. I contemplated what death would feel like and everything. I realized I was just listening to everyone who was making jokes about the hurricane causing a problem. I realize, these pilots know what the hell they are doing and they are experts when it comes to the weather. The have to be. The weather is almost thier vehichle as much as the airplane is.
Today I feel a slight calm. I'm happy to be sitting in the airport. I'm having a grand ol time surfing the net while doing it too. Who knew a few years ago that this would even be possible. I sure as heck didn't. The fact that we can communicate via laptop without a cord is amazing to me too.
Wow, my mind is really working. hehee. I wonder if my leg is going to swell at all on the flight. I heard it might...ooh..I'm gonna go and post over on MBL...:)
