Bacons cooking...yummerz...
My exchange student from Japan arrived Saturday morning. His name's Shoichiro and he plays soccer. We're gonna hit up the soccer field and vball courts to play sum ball w/ friends. That sme day, my cousin had his 18th Bday. And Maureen, his sister, is also back from the Air Force...so it was like a big day. Plus, friends from skool also came to da party. After dat, we all went to chill @ the Seal Beach pier, including Mau's friends from the Air Force. Oh yea, Ada and Brian came along too hehe. Because my and Jeff's exchange students were really tired (jet lag), we had to leave like almost 2 AM. The rest of the party stayed til 4:30 AM. David, who decided to come home w/ us, wanted to go on top of Signal Hill. I wasn't going to cuz I longed for sleep, but wuttaheck...I took the opportunity. So we did...and it was real tite cuz Shoichiro and Shoko liked it a lot! Then I also took them to a steep drive and accelerated like crazy to make it seem like a roller coaster hehe Shoko got scared but it was fun.
Yesterday (Sunday), we went to church, then to a "lunch appointment" w/ the Air Force ppl to give me a brief summary of the BMT and to also give me some advices. Dude there's so much to everything...but yea I learned a lot. There are some things I don't look forward to, like those MTI's yelling at you and the lack of bathroom privacy...but there are also some things I do look forward to like exploring what's out there, meeting all kinds of people, being part of an elite group and so on.
Shoichiro, Maureen, Mary Anne, and I went to Huntington Beach Promenade afterwards. It was around 6 PM and they actually went swimming...except for Shoichiro and I cuz I thought it was too cold and don't wanna risk getting cold or sumtn. Maureen so wanted to boogyboard but I forgot to bring it. So they'll be coming back tomorrow morning. Mau was trying to convince me to literally go into the water and I feel bad I didn't cuz she was all telling me that she's leaving for the AF Base in Okinawa, Japan this Friday. It was still fun tho..getting my lower body wet and taking pics. Shoichiro scribbled "Long Beach" on the sand and took a pic hehe...but we were in Huntington Beach. I didn't wanna "interfere" tho cuz I know what he meant..this exchange program is literally in Long Beach.
Dude the girls didn't bring their clothes..they left them in the car so we actually walked back to the car around the promenade, crossing the busy streets, passed the main stores and everything w/ their bikinis on haha everyone was staring at them. Shoi and I were walking in front of them so we know hehe. Then when we got to the car, they changed their clothes in the street using just a towel to cover themselves up lol. Cars passing by and all...and a pick up truck driver passed by "woohooing" lol.
Got home like around 9 PM, extremely TIRED. My parents, bro, lil cuz, and gramma came home after awhile from San Diego to visit a relative and my sis. We ate together, finally..cuz lately I've been eating out. Then got ready for bed. I showed my yearbook and pics to Shoi..and o yea, he gave us some souvenirs! After awhile, I fell asleep! W/o brushing my teeth and washing myself!! I woke up at around 3:45 AM and remembered dis! I went back to sleep @ 4 AM.
Dis morning...my clock went off 3-4 times. And snoozed it everytime. Shoi's alarm clock went off too but he still didn't wake up. I woke up at 9 AM! We're supposed to be at skool exactly 9 for his english class! It's sorta embarrassing b/c we're talking about Japanese time here...they're very exact. Dude, Shoi took awhile gettin ready. We got there at exactly 9:30 and everyone else was there. So embarrassing. I'm gonna go back there at around 12:15 I told Keiko sensei cuz I wanna go to Belmont Shore w/ them..
she was like "sure, but make sure you're not late!". >_<
Well I got 15 minutes to get ready. Latez.
