Yesterday was exciting and full of laughter. First off, I’m so relieved to finally drop off my application for the Honors program at LBCC. Marshall and Mai picked me up cuz I didn’t wanna bring my car and dat’s the place where I got my parking ticket at. It was hilarious when we arrived there! Mai and I were like making a scene pretending we broke up b/c supposedly she broke up w/ me for Marshall lol…tsk tsk tsk high-skoolers man.. And o yea, at LBCC LAC campus, there are bunnies roaming everywhere b/c dat’s how it is over there. Mai started yelling “bunnies” like a li’l kid who never saw bunnies before and everyone started looking at us..haha gosh I don’t kno her anymore..made Marshall and me look all bad heh. After dat, we went to a nearby restaurant, and becuz I always wanna eat sumtn with rice and meat, we went to dis one Viet place. I’m starting to like Viet food…mMm spring rolls yummerz! Then we went to 99 cents store on Orange Ave. and Carson St. to buy water balloons for the bonfire that nite. I wanted to buy a beach ball but it has big-o “99 cents store” mark on it lol! Who would wanna buy that?!? I wonder if dat product’s gonna actually make $. We came back to my house and filled those water balloons up and to get Anthony. Us four split up the balloons and filled them up..Anthony wid the front yard hose, Marsh in the kitchen, Mai in the garage, and me in the restroom…when we met up I had like 50, and then Mai filled up almost 40, but then Marshall and Anthony had 4! >=/ great job…….
We went to pick up my cuz Denison too. Uncle Nards and Auntie Lynn gave me graduation money aww yeaah! And then Uncle Ferdin gave me one too wow whatta surprise I’m so thankful! All G man. We also got sum firewood at Den’s backyard. The guys were a bunch of wuss…makin the girl carry those woods into the car =/. Mai is so strong. On the way to the beach was awesome despite the traffic on 91 Freeway. We passed by 6 trucks and got 4 of the truck drivers to honk their horns haha! I think it was mainly bcuz of the girl on the front seat hehe.
We got to Bolsa Chica beach tower 17 @ around 6:30 pm after I missed the right turn and had to drive like a mile and half just to U turn. Everybody else started coming thirty minutes later. We played beach vball and tackle football ^_^. My team won in football and we hadda girl!! Kim is grrrrrreat! She’s so cute tackling Anthony hehe. I don’t really play tackle b/c I’m afraid of getting hurt. Back in freshman year during vball off season at skool, I got hit on the side of my head and was knocked down. My mates told me I was having seizures and hadda concussion. I woke up in the nurse’s office waiting for the ambulance. It was quite embarrassing cuz when I was being transported into the ambulance I was hearing “who’s dat kid?” .... “Oh that’s blah blahs” =X. Kno wut, the following week, I gotta medical bill from St. Mary Hospital charging me $525.00 for the ambulance ride! And it was just like a block away from my skool..
There were some seniors from Cerritos High by our pit that nite. When we almost lost da vball, this one girl from Cerritos named Valerie was helping me and Mai look for it. Valerie…ahhh..could it be tru dat Cerritos has all dem fine Asian girls? O yea it was nite time when we started throwing water balloons at Ada cuz she’s the main subject of this whole bonfire thing since she’s leaving for Hong Kong…she actually just left about two hours ago. I threw one at John and man he started chasing me then we wrestled. He got me. He got sand on my face and I accidentally touched his crotch haha! I never wrestled before so yea I got beat…got scratches on my arms too.
What else happened? This one cop came and got real mad for staying over the limit. He was about to fine us 90 bux…gave us like 3 minutes to pack up and leave. Everybody started hauling like krazy and took everything not minding who owns what. I found out I didn’t have my glasses so I drove without it..pretty risky. Thank God I got it this morning. Mai had my glass case and Ariz had my glasses. Marsh lost his alarm key and I have like a shirt and a sweater but I’ma keep it for now til sumone claims them. Sum of us headed to Ada’s to chill. They started watching Memories this one Korean scary movie but since Anthony had to get home by 12 am, I decided to drop him first and whoever else needs to go. Denison and David came along. Den was craving for a slurpee and had to drive up to three different stores b/c the first one the machine was broken and the second 7 Eleven, there were cops having a stand off..Den was about to go in anyway but David didn’t let him. Deng I guess he wanted his slurpee so bad. We ended up at AM PM where dis one teenager stole sumtn and started running like a mofo. I would’ve gotten his arse if I knew they needed help. He was juss like rite there and I kno I could over run him…with my sandals too! Yups Flip style lol! ^_^
We got back at Ada’s house and watched the “shortened” bootleg movie. So we juss told scary stories w/out lights on after that. It was me, John, David, Marshall, Christine and Ada in the den. I enjoy those times. They’re priceless and worthwhile moments. It was great but I was gettin tired and itchy from the sand all over me esp. on my head so I had to suggest to everyone dat we ought to go. It sux cuz I was havin a great time. And besides, Ada has to wake up early to clean up her room and pack up. We left like around 2:30 in the morning.
Today my mom woke me up too early cuz she wanted me to drop my gramma off to work. I had to decline foreals. Not only was I still sleepy, I was also sore from last nite. Then Ana my Red Cross youth coordinator calls me up for the puppet show which I completely forgot. Sa’ll good tho..I just went anyway since it’s gonna be only for a short while. I picked up Mai (yay our new volunteer!) and went to Ariz to pick up my glasses then headed to the place. Bcuz none of the alumnis were present, for the first time I had to take charge. It was pretty organized and turned out quite well so I’m happy for dat. Good luck to the new batches of puppeteers next year. I’m still gonna be helpin out tho. I’ll always be a Red Cross volunteer.
Here I am. I have a handful of time at this moment. I’m liiiiiking it!! I’m waiting for the sun to settle down cuz I wanna avoid the heat and excessive sunlight. Mite prolly head to Ikea to get me a new chair and roam around downtown LB to look for a job. I think my aunt is leaving for Texas tomorrow so I mite take her out. It’s been so much fun having her around in the house. She says she plans to move here in Cali with Uncle and Darren. Awwrite! Man I hope my back, neck, and my arms will stop aching soon. Ahh I’m out for now.
