Put a deposit down on an apartment. Its nice. I like the building, its very cozy and homey, and its nicely kept up by the landlord, unlike Granada were its like you send them a repair request, tow months later youre still waiting. They are bastards. They want all this money from you for water and garbage and all, but they arent willing to keep up their part of the deal.
On another note, been working alot on guitar. Trying to get my solos even more perfected and working on improv and writing. Been into Holdsworth and Lane alot. Allan Holdsworth is my biggest influence on guitar. Listening to him took me from simple leads to areas of tones that cascade out of my amp like flowing water. I owe lots to him. It was an honor meeting him in Hollywood when I was 18. He was so polite and kind, unlike other artists I like that are bastards and rude (cough! Yngwie mm mm).
Shawn Lane sounds like a darker Holdsworth, but his chordal technique is very different. If youre wondering WTF Im talking about, check out their websites(Shawn unfortunately passed away 2 years ago, but I think his sis keeps up the site) its worth it. Or, if ya wanna let me know, I can burn ya some stuff maybe.
