I want to thank everyone who sent me love on the love meme. It bowled me over. Thank you!!! I almost never get mentioned on those type of things and was so happily surprised that I was remembered. *hugs to all of you*
The other night I was watching the Teen Tournament on Jeopardy. It was a Semi-Final round, so each of the contestants competing had either already won a match or had scored fairly highly. The category was television shows. Jeopardy gave you the names of a couple of the stars of the show and you had to come up with the show's title.
The third one down was Tom Welling and Erica Durance - no one buzzed in with 'What is Smallville?' The fourth one down was Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki - again, no one buzzed in with 'What is Supernatural?' The answer for the last one in the category was "What is One Tree Hill?' (the show that I keep saying aloud whenever I see an ad for it - That's still on?) No one got that one, either.
When even very smart teenagers have no knowledge of these shows, it seems that the CW must be doing something not quite right. But Yay! to the Jeopardy writers! Someone there must be a fan.
