Things have quieted down, at last. Student Espa is still acting erratically, but I have faith that with some work, I can help him repair what he's done to himself. It has been a long time since I have seen such instability, however.
I am working on the spells and training exercises needed for balance, but I need to rest. Eris has promised me that he'll watch over Espa's behavior in the meantime, and wake me at the first sign of danger.
Thank you, Pharaoh Atem, for removing the spell which bound him. I have much to do when I awaken. This is not at all what I was expecting when I came to stay here as the boy's teacher, but I will make sure he gets through this and does not hurt others.
