No, this is not anime talk.
It's literature talk.
Because I found myself thinking how awesome it was the interactions among brazilian writers in the 19th Century.
For example...
Castro Alves was a young man that wrote some poems and decided to show them to a famous writer (and politician), to get a critic from an expert. Who?
José de Alencar. (awesome~)
José de Alencar, unfortunately, was too busy and would not be able to read the poems and analyze them. He said to Castro Alves: "I'm too busy right now, so I'll send the poems to a friend who also knows a lot about Literature."
Who was this friend?
Machado de Assis. (awesome²)
There is even some published letters they exchanged with each other. It's so cool~
This is one of the stories I know. I guess, because I admire many of those writers, I end up geting interested about their lives too. I was smiling like an idiot while listening to this story, ahahahaha. Some facts are funny, others are really sad... some are beautiful... others not so much...
But I think everything is really interesting. I'm the only one who thinks that Y/N?
................
In the end... this was a very random entry, wasn't it? XD
Some more randomness then, before I forget...
Móveis Coloniais de Acaju finally released their new CD on Trama Virtual! I'm downloading it right now! ♥ There are some extra stuff there, I can't wait to see it!
And I want to read more about Claude Monet... because I like his works since I was a kid. But I never tried to search more about him... *fails* And suddenly I felt like reading about him... I can't remember why, though.
Oh, wait... I remember now! I saw a book for kids about him... then I had a little flashback and after that I felt like reading about him, ahahahahaha. XD
