I walked out on the field, the lines already drawn and the stands empty. I look around and it is just me and the field. You smell the grass and you hear the fans. You think of all those people chanting and all your team-mates cheering. Your all bruised and bloody and yet you realize that this is Softball. This is what it is all about.
Losers quit when there tired, but winners are tired when they quit!
My life circle's around softball. It's the one thing that makes me HAPPY! To be at Short-Stop and throw out the player. Make a dive to catch a line drive. To have the need and adrenaline when I walk out on the field. I know I have to win! I want to win... I need to win! To be up at the plate and to slam the ball to the fence. To have hits every time you come up there! When you catch and you throw it down and the blue asking if you throw a good one again! To have photographers to recognize you and say your an awesome player! To have people recognize you. It feels good It's what I live for! It's called SOFTBALL! Thats pretty much LIFE.... my LIFE!
