I'm still struggling for the answer to my question of who the hell actually voted for this bonehead. I hope the peope who did are happy.

Voted for him. The only honest man in Hungarian politics, who does admit to screwing up. I would much rather vote for him than for the party and its mini Führer who has gone 180° in just 4 years when he saw an opening in the Hungarian political palette.

Hm... No... I do think the Fidesz went from ultraliberal to ultraconservative flirting with the far right and completely unacceptable to anyone who actually believes anything that was dear to Petöfi, Ady or Radnóti.

Oh, this is how a politician should speak about his own country.
And yeah.. probably lots of people love him for refusing the declaration of brotherhood towards millions of Hungarians stuck outside the border... just to mention one of his issues...

Oh yeah.. And I loved it when he said that "you can leave the country..." Oh~ that is the right way to hold the nation together, right?

Not to mention the economic state of the country today...

And you know what? I can't talk you over, because you would lick his feet even if you had to eat shit and sleep on chippings for the rest of your life...

Brotherhood okay. Dual citizenship so people who never lived or will live here can vote about who should run the country where I live and they don't... no. Making relocation easy and legal, giving those who decide to live here citizenship, yes. Giving benefits to those who work and pay taxes here, yes. Giving benefits to those, who'd have the right to old age pension upon turning 62 and never paid for it... no.

It is so good to see that you are not feeling it degrading to sink to the level where Gyurcsány is.

So then please tell us, how is someone living across the border in Ukraine, Transylvania or Slovakia because of a "treaty" any different from me, someone who was born in the US because her parents CHOSE to?

Only reason I'm asking is because I have MY Hungarian citizenship, I voted, and I sure as hell care, but probably not nearly as much as those who probably have more right to the citizenship, in my mind.

Just some food for thought. If it's not those people in the 'east' who won't get the change, the influence from the west is coming sooner than you may think.

Yeah well a lot of people voted for "no" because they misunderstood things like you did.
It was not about these questions. It was about if we want the MPs in the Parliament to start discussing about that or not.
Not the exact laws...
Old people wouldn't want to leave their hometown/village, because they are old and they want to live where they were born for their days remaining. *asked old people about it*

And they would still be eligible for öregségi nyugdíj. Once you give ciizenship to someone you give all the rights, not just one or two. It includes voting rights, and as I am not allowed to vote in countries where I don't live, I don't see why the Fidesz should have suddenly gotten 5 million voters, who will never actually live under a Fidesz government.

I also have no idea how anyone would have every defined who was határon túli magyar. There was just this great big campaign without ever even showing the slightest plan of how it should be done. And once it would have gone before the Parliament no one would have asked the people ever again.

I would like to ask those who were so willing to call me un-Hungarian and evil what the frak they do for those across our borders. Because I know I am responsible for them as well and act on that knowledge.

Oh I tell you what I do. I visit them about 5-7 times a year, and bring them stuffs (food, medicine, electronic stuffs which they can't get there)

Slota maximum egy Szálasi lehet: hiányzik a karizmája, ami viszont a kisemberben megvan. Mert Orbán pl. lehetne még a ahaza bölcse, a politikán felülemelkedö vezetö, pár évtized múlva köztársasági elnök, ha most kiszállna az aktiv politikából. Lehetne mondjuk a következö Boros Péter, akire azért mindenki odafigyel.

A gond az, hogy 16 éve benyeli az ország a hazugságokat bárkitQl, aki egy kicsit többet igér, mint a másik. Mit 16 éve--az egész történelem errQl szól. Ami viszont szomorú, hogy ezek ellenére hajlandó az ország ugyanazt a néhány ezer politikust elfogadni, eltartani akik soha semmit nem tettek. Egy karizmatikus, általában populista vezetQ határozhatja meg, hogy az emberek kire szavaznak

Hm, furi... Amúgy a Gegesy sem lakik a kerületben, azt hiszem Rákosvalahol lakik.

Az új érettségi rendszert meg kell védenem, ugyanis a régi érettségi mind az értékét, mind a jelentöségét elvesztette. Én személy szerint nemzetközi érettségiztem, annak a rendszereét rontották el a magyar szakértök, hogy azért ne legyen annyira éles a váltás. Kár volt.

A bolognai folyamatról nem nyilatkoznék, mert nem igazán értem (mert olyan egyszerü és jó). De én magam alapvetQen klasszikus liberális vagyok, és mivel a klasszikus liberális rendszer egy ország kormányzására alkalmatlan, ezért nem is mondom, hogy mit kapott tölem Orosz Lajos áprilisban...
