(no subject)
Today is good:
- I am no longer sick, after three days of misery
- It's a beautiful blustery day today
- I finished my scene breakdown.
- I live in a country where I am allowed to worship God, say what I feel (so long as I'm not trying to kill someone, etc.), and read a newspaper that isn't run by who's in charge. Moreover, if I don't like who's in charge, I have the freedom to elect another person in four years.
And yet, I keep on thinking of one of my favorite hymns:
We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord.
We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord,
And we pray that our unity may one day be restored.
Kinda depressing that, after 2000 years, we Christians can't agree on much other than that we believe in Jesus and we believe that the Bible is, in some part, true.
