Photographers
I have some old family photographs (my family came to TX from Hungary around 1900) and none of us are sure who the photos are of. On the back they say (accents ommitted)
Schrecker & Ekl - Fenykep irodaja - Pesten 3 Dobutcza 50 sz, a kertben
Herzl Vilmos - Fenykepesz Szentesrol
Ravasz Jmre (Imre?) - ... Aradon 1876
I know its a total shot in the dark, but would anyone have any knowledge if these photography companies are still around? Are there any records that might have data in them about this?
I translated the backs of the photos pretty easily, but its just stuff about addresses.
I'm stumped!
