[It's to be understood, really. Last he heard of them, the Tohsakas were the prime example of magi. Apart from simply being a magus, the high possibility of one from that family being willing to kill is precisely the reason why Kiritsugu does not trust her. He can't reassure her, though. Not when he represents the magus' willingness to kill to such a greater degree.]
