Properties: Astraea is a personal protection charm created through a melding of Marisa Kirisame and Fai D. Flowright's magic designed specifically for use by Karen Minazuki, thought to be a normal, non-magically inclined human.
Upon a specific command (TBD), the torc generates a primary magical barrier capable of absorbing or repelling magical attacks of a non-piercing variety. A secondary magical barrier layered over the primary repels or stops non-magical projectiles of any type designed to harm the wearer. Conditionally, Astraea will activate automatically upon a magic attack of a mid-high level directed at the wearer or should the wearer be knocked unconscious and become vulnerable.
Neither barrier is visible when activated, though the primary barrier will flare with a shimmer should a magical attack hit it.
Weakness: As Astraea was created by the combined magic of two different magicians, there is a chance that one magical signature will attempt to overpower the other, causing the harmony within the torc to be disrupted for a few seconds, leaving the wearer momentarily vulnerable. Prolonged bombardment by either magic or non-magical projectiles will increase the chance of this occurring.
Astraea radiates magic with both magical signatures of Marisa Kirisame and Fai D. Flowright to those capable of sensing magic.
