Why Be Optimistic (part 2)
Intro: I rewrote this essay for a friend of mine in Oxford. It turned out better than take one, so I am posting the upgrade with more links.

If you've read the first one, there isn't too much new stuff here. I figure I'll eventually combine the "a new epoch we live in" entry with this to make an honest-to-God full size essay.
