So ill put a quick lil post-- pre warning work rant
Today was the first time in 3 weeks that I have come home to a empty house (name;y without Justin)
Haha its so nice to have some peace, and quiet. Took a small nap
Can play whatever music I want without being heckled, buh we gotta find a house quick so I can get a room and some personal space…
BUH work is crazy, where to start
Im not a analyst, nor am I software developer, yet I am not devoting at least 14 hours a week to our IT department to define, refine and plan for the future of our new testing process, basically we have this insanely archaic manual process for processing the files that our clients send us (we must receive a file that denotes school/teacher/class/period associations per student in order to generate reports)
So we are developing a new tool that will automate 99.9999 percent of it
We get over 1400 of these file, up to 4 times a year
Most come in about 3 weeks of eachother and it gets insane
Fuckin thurs I spent 5 hours in meetings. (12 total for the week just with IT)
And I get no extra time delgated to me what so ever
I had to create content slides for our power point presentation in Idaho and launch this horridly non intuitive application called databridge that links up with a database called SASI. Takes me about a hour on avg to setup a client and I have been doing it for way too long and we have one new person that I trained that doesn’t want to do it nor does she care about her job so I gottta sit with her and hold her hand thru shit. with 3 hours a day to do my delegated work, not to mention all my projects I feel like I am not going to be able to swallow what I bit off. Im not buried yet but its falling down fast
We shall see
Other then work being insane, I really cant complain
Got some new shoes that are as light as socks, they are like slippers (puma rocks)
Dentist bill was 200 less then I was expecting
And I got 240 from Justin for the 6 weeks he will be stayin with me
Gonna be able to move out by march no prob.
And the weather today was awesome, today was the first day in a long time it was light past 5:45 haha I saw a sunset around 6 when I was walking home, no more depressing times of leaving to and arriving form work while its dark
Got to talk to rose tonight for a lil while, she says she is coming out in the summer (if I have to buy your ticket your coming out….)
Gonna go find something to do for the night and get off my comp
