Senior nailing is a strange thing. Especially when there are people you love so very much up there. The debate of saying it out loud or just telling them in person. I tried to say some things, it was hard. I'm not sure I should have said it then. I don't know. Leaves me feeling confused. And I can't do that whole goodbye talking thing ( Read more... )

The feeling is just as strange when for the first time in 4 years you won't be watching people who have become your family getting "nailed" and cheering for people who won awards for their hard work... The year flew by and with everyone talking about graduation, I feel like I'm a million miles away.

it's also quite a bit surreal when you're the one being "nailed" - but it's definitely a most memorable evening on my list.... ::huggles!::

Agreed. It feels very strange and surreal to read about this and know another class is closing their book this week, ironing their gowns, and packing their boxes. Makes me feel nostaglic if I think about it for very long.

It doesn't feel like it's really happening, that's for sure. And I'm not even the one graduating, but the ones who make this place what it is to me are. I guess that's why it's affecting me so much...

I second Julie...I didn't expect to be nailed tonight, it took me very much by surprise and it's pretty surreal being up there...

...It's hard saying the goodbyes 'n all, those you really are closest too you don't really have anything to say to, they know it all...but it's so great for that rare person that you don't ever really talk to but who impacted your life to be able to say something....

...anywho, back on topic= for exposing your heart you did great, it couldn't have been easy and I think you were eloquent, well done.

Talk to you soon,
Stephanie

Thanks glorious Stephanie. What I didn't get to say to you I will have to tell you later... I will of course send you those pics, I'll do that sometime today. Although I'm not sure any turned out because I was so far away, but I will check.
