This was terrific story. What I loved about it was the strong atmospheric writing. It really pushed the story along. That element was so important to the story.

Thank you so much! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this. I've always preferred stories that had a strong sense of place to them, but with this one in particular I wanted it to have almost a personality of its own, to heighten to sense of "otherness" that Ginny is experiencing.

Thanks so much for your kind comment. :-)

Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh. I want to cry.

It's a magnificent story, Mags. Just - magnificent. You made me feel so much for Ginny. The mood is wonderful. There is a flux/reflux feel to the entire story, and we are on the top of the wave when Harry is back at the end - I do want to believe that he's back.

It's a story written in grays and blues, and a stunning portrayal of Ginny wearing her grief on her sleeve. All the details - the language, the seals, this lovely appearance of Luna - worked out so well against Ginny's numbness, hope and doubt.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I'm completely speechless. In the best way.

*hugs* I'm so pleased you enjoyed this, Red. I've always been of two minds about it - I think it's one of my better-conceived and -executed fics, yet I can see all the flaws as if they were house-sized potholes in the road. I realize it isn't the CoS-type fic you were looking for, but I hope the otherworldly aspect to it satisfied (however temporarily) your yen for spooky, haunted Ginny. :-)
