FUN employed
Well Stu and I are officially FUNemployed from our day jobs. We both have a handful of independent work to keep a trickle of income flowing. I have a bunch of stuff to attack professionally before I can really be calm and focus on the travels. This week my goals are to get my Obstetrics certification paperwork, CV, and case report out and finish up business paperwork. Next week: going live with HealingTreeCoop.com website! It's been under construction for almost 8 month.
If you are interested we've made a few updates to StuandMags.net travel blog. 7 weeks until we leave San Francisco for good and our year of travel! OMG WTF OMG. Our plans keep shifting. We have broad brush strokes but so far we only have the first 2 weeks planned. Then Guatemala, Belieze, Mexico, Taiwan, Japan, Europe-Moscow through Paris and back to the US for 1-2 months Bike touring and town hunting in the US. I will be taking more professional coursework in Mayan Abdominal Therapy at the Arvigo Institue in Belieze and hopefully working with a medical missions OB/Gyn team in Guatemala. Feeling really inspired lately and taking much better care of myself and Stu.
Portishead last Friday at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, OMG blown away! Made me want to build a performing arts center just to be able to invite them to stay and hang out on the Homestead. Let me rub oils on your body Rockstars! ;-)
