So, that was "Forever"...

Well, I'm certainly glad Angsty McAngstypants decided to shape up before swinging by Sunnydale.  I actually enjoyed that scene...until I remembered how he had started out the previous episode back in LA and got really pissed at him again...and glad Buffy didn't know, because she CERTAINLY did not need that knowledge right then.  And I was somewhat distracted by trying to decide how long it would have taken him to heal from that sledge hammer to the...everything.  Assuming the events of Angel and BtVS have been running all parallel and everything and there wasn't some huge gap in time between the two episodes (which there shouldn't have been, considering...even with the month plus hiatus in the original air dates), he should have at least still had some bruising.  I mean, I know he heals fast, but I don't think a ten minute session with an extremely angry man with a 10-pound sledge goes away overnight.

OMG, Giles was listening to the same song from "Band Candy"!

And, damn, do I love Spike and his unique, ridiculously twisted version of morality.  And that thing I've been saying all along, ever since "Becoming" (which the GFP and I are up to, now. Yayness!)?  SO GLAD it was acknowledged, addressed, and used as a plot point.  Because those really were some of my favourite scenes and, as much as it would have been so so very wrong to even have Spike in the previous episode, I'm so happy he got his say in the matter and proud that he did it with a modicum of grace.

I think I did that in a successfully un-spoilery manner, wot?  At least, no major spoilers, right?  There will almost certainly be more on some of these things later when I can find the time to chase down my muse again.  And hopefully those outstanding comments from, like, a week ago will be replied to.

And now, "The Shakespeare Code."  My GOD, I didn't even realise how much I missed My Doctor until I picked up my DVDs to pick out an episode.  Now I just kind of want to watch them all.  And "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang," because how fun is THAT gonna be, now?  I mean, it was already fun.  Now it's going to be a whole party.  With cupcakes and punch.  And Weetabix.  Crumbled up in Alzarian riverfruit wine, or something.

doctor who, the doctor, pinstripes and chucks and ten, weetabix addicts anonymous, btvs, i'm sorry doctor i'm so sorry
