Harry Groener never fails to make me smile.

Tangentially related, I feel that I owe Ted something of an apology.  I still think he was a big freakin' idiot last week, but I appreciate so much that he acknowledged reality this week.  I was not super thrilled with the first half of the episode (I swear, that was the first time I've ever really noticed the laugh track, perhaps because my own feelings about the antics at the beginning were so different than the hysterical reaction the track seemed to be having), and I'm a little bit bored with the whole Barney-acts-more-than-usually-disgusting-leading-up-to-a-moment-of-extreme-vulnerability trope at this point (not that I didn't find the moment of vulnerability sufficiently smushy...), but it was an okay episode, overall.

Bonus spoilery weirdness (because it wouldn't be HIMYM if it didn't weird me out a little): I had just been thinking a couple of days ago about how long ago "Benefits" was, and how weird it is that Robin has been  living in that apartment longer than Marshall did (well...longer than Marshall lived there during the timeframe of the show).

ETA: Yeeeeeessssssss, Community will be back at 8 PM on 15 March.  Thank you, NBC.  This is very much appreciated.

barney and spike are kind of the same, ...if you have no shame, happy making things, legendary, lucky charms and tv
