1) Another Batman villain I've never cared for? Penguin. The "Kabuki Twins" were suitably neat and frightening, though. So...I guess I like my Batman villains to be inhumanly graceful and freaky as all get-out? Uh...yeah, actually, that seems to cover most of the ones I have any particular interest in (I'm not entirely sure Scarecrow is "

(I'd think about putting Saga on my subscriptions list, too -- except I JUST _forced_ myself to cut my subscription list in half (I GOT RID OF TWO "BATMAN" TITLES, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD), so now is not the time to start adding books back again, alas. Especially since I'm still WAITING FOR THEM TO START RELEASING BATMAN BEYOND AGAIN, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD.)
(Although: I am REALLY confused about the Batman Beyond comic book return. Okay, so there's going to be three titles: Batman Beyond, Justice League Beyond, and Batman Beyond Unlimited? Wait, BBU is going to be released digitally? No, BB _and_ JLB are going to be released digitally, and then collected into a monthly print edition which is released as BBU?? Wait, exactly what is digital and what is print and I DON'T UNDERSTAND, DC; WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS SO HARD ON NON-EREADER-OWNING PEOPLE; I JUST WANT MY TERRY, PLEASE STOP MAKING THIS SO HARD. Boo. :P)
... ahem. Also, your additional-additional on Number 4 made me laugh out loud. ;-)
I always enjoy your "five things" post, but I'm PARTICULARLY interested in the ones you're doing on "The Batman," because this is a show I'm very unsure about (do I bother watching it? Do I NOT bother watching it??). It'll be good to get a second opinion on it so I can figure out if I wanna watch it someday or not ... (And since I want to watch "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" first, it's not like I'm in any particular hurry to see what you end up thinking about the whole thing ...)

Luckily, nearly all of my comics have either just come to an end or are going to be doing so in the next couple of months, so I can afford to give Saga a try for a few issues. We'll see if it's worth further consideration.
I am serious about that Additional Additional. The answer in the first four episodes seems to be, "No, unless it's Catwoman, and he didn't originally intend to rescue her." This show is much more of a "solve the mystery, defeat the villain" sort of show than a "help the citizens of Gotham" sort of thing...which is probably why I was so much reminded of Holmes and Adler in "The Cat and the Bat."
