Oh, dear sweet Tinkerbell Jebus, DO NOT GIVE THEM IDEAS.
Beeteedubs, do you understand how angry I am at you showing me that Bottle of Pearl? I was stressing enough over whether I _really_ need Angelica and Gibbs*, and now you show me THAT? There is not room on my bookshelf for that, even if I absolutely know exactly where it belongs - smack dab between NECA Jack and NECA Barbossa.
I can't tell you (although I imagine you have at least a vague inkling) just how ecstatically relieved I was to see Peg-Leg Pirate Barbossa there at the end. The other three I was with were working themselves into a tizzy ("Buh...But wot about Philip? Is he a mermaid, now? I want him to be a mermaid!"), but I was grinning ear to ear and wiping my brow. I mean, like I said before, the palm tree scene pretty well convinced me that all was right with the world...but recent experiences with other pirate-themed fiction had me slightly worried still. I'm pretty sure I actually said out loud, "THERE we go; THAT's better." So, yes, I would spend ridiculous money on such a figure as that.
...I was really kinda hoping YOU knew what the heck those titles are on about. I will absolutely be going again this weekend and will think on it after becoming more acquainted with the intricacies of the story, but I suspect I'll still be scratching my head. Scratching my head AND tapping my toes, though, so it's okay ^_^
(Why has it taken this long for Hans Zimmer + Spanish guitar to come back into my life?! How did I survive this long with only "The Brig"?!)
* Yes, of course I do. Now the question becomes, _what exactly do I DO about that_, given the limited variety of such figures?
